Whether you are searching for them among cattail reeds in the daytime or on a wall near an outside light at night, you are bound to be delighted with Green Treefrogs when you find them. When Green Treefrogs get together at mating sites they may number in the thousands.
Look For : A long-legged, green treefrog with polished, smooth skin and usually a bold white stripe down each side of its body. Call resembles a cowbell clinking about once a second.
Length : 1 1/4-2 1/4".
Habitat : Vegetation, usually along edges of streams, marshes, and ponds.
Range : Southeastern U.S.
