Rana luteiventris (Rana pretiosa)

Columbia Spotted Frogs, which have a pretty large range in the West, used to be much more common before Bullfrogs were introduced into the region. Bullfrogs have big bodies and big appetites and they like the taste of Oregon Spotted Frogs so much that in some places they have eaten this smaller species into extinction.
Look For : A brownish frog with dark spots on its back and a light stripe on its upper lip. Call is a short series of deep but weak notes.
Length : 2-4".
Habitat : Marshy edges of cold lakes and streams.
Range : Southeastern Alaska and south to Nevada and Utah.
