Hyla avivoca

Look For : A greenish, grayish, or brownish treefrog, quite similar to the gray treefrogs, with a white spot below its eye and blotches on its back. Call is very different -- a lovely, birdlike twittering, given from shrubs.
Length : 1-2".
Habitat : Swamps bordering rivers and streams.
Range : Southern Illinois to Louisiana and Florida; Georgia and South Carolina.
