Fabrosaurus was a small plant-eater that lived in the early part of the Jurassic Period in South Africa. This little dinosaur probably lived in groups to help protect it from predators. Only a part of a jaw with three teeth has been found, so scientists are still not sure how to classify it.
There is a good deal of discussion about Fabrosaurus's familial relationship. It was suggested recently that this dinosaur was actually a Lesothosaurus, and that this specimen may represent a different gender. It has also been suggested that it belongs to the Hypsilophodon idae.
