Barapasaurus was one of the earliest of the giant, long-necked plant-eaters. It is very well known because many different individuals have been found. The only trouble is, no head has been discovered, so its complete look remains a mystery.
The bone bed where Barapasaurus was discovered contained the remains of as many as 300 sauropod specimens. Consequently, the composite skeleton constructed from these fossils may have some proportional errors.
