Ohmdenosaurus was one of the first sauropod dinosaurs. Sauropods were the long-necked plant-eaters that became the biggest animals to ever walk the earth. Since it was an early sauropod, Ohmdenosaurus was small by sauropod standards.

Considered to be a fairly close relative of Vulcanodon  Ohmdenosaurus is known from only a few bones.
