Microceratops is one of the tiniest dinosaurs ever discovered. This was a very small and early member of the family of dinosaurs that includes Triceratops Some scientists think that this early member may have walked on two legs because it was still small and light. It was also just beginning to show the frill that grew so large on later family members.
There is some controversy over the genus Microceratops. Some feel that it is a juvenile Protoceratops, and it has recently been described and reassigned as Graciliceratops.
