Purple People Eater (1988)
Based on Sheb Wooley's 1950's song, an extraterrestrial appears out of the blue to aid a senior citizens group threatened with eviction. He's already a member of a 12-year-old's '50s rock group and plans to do a benefit concert, unless the landlord kidnaps him.
