Soccer Dog: The Movie (1998)

In the spirit of canine classics like LASSIE, RIN TIN TIN, BENJI, and AIR BUD, comes this story of an amazingly agile soccer-playing, day-saving dog named Lincoln. When young orphan Clay comes to terms with his new life in the surprisingly competitive little town of Crocker, he inadvertently disappoints his father with his lack of athletic interest, but joins the soccer team anyway. The stray dog he takes in shows an unusual interest in the game as well, which becomes very useful when one of the team's star players is unable to play in an important game.
